Helmets are required. The rest of the gear is strongly suggested.

i cant ride any of my bikes ( street, dirt, etc) without a helmet. i would really like to get a jacket, but funds arent available at the moment. thanks for the reply man.

Whatever protective gear you have, you should wear it. Bike is replaceable, so your body protection is money well spent, ya know. Some guys wear their full leather race suits, they are pricey but great to minimize injuries if something happens.
Thermal underwear has been the norm lately too lol. |

You will want to wear something to protect your arms. Road rash sucks. I myself will ride without a jacket when tooling around town in the summer but I always wear one on a ride. Yes ALL GEAR ALL THE TIME is very suggested but I am realistic with Tucson's weather.

I strongely recommend boots that cover the ankles,jeans if not riding pants, jacket with armor ,gloves with knuckle protection and helmet.you cannot replace body parts.
