Yet another article I ran across that's worth a read. As a sweep I notice that in the straights our formation is always pretty good but in the turns.. not always so much. We put a lot of trust in the people we ride with and with a group like this there's always going to be a high turnover rate. Don't assume that the person in front of you is an experienced rider. Give them room to make mistakes and not have it become your own. click here to view article

Thanks Tyne. It's always good to revisit the basics. I'd add that less experienced riders should line up in the back of the pack so they don't feel pressured to ride beyond their skill level.
