I will be moving to Tucson soon and wanted to hook up with riders in the area. I love riding the twisties and thought this group could show me the best routes.
I have a few bikes currently. For Sport riding, I like my Yamaha FZ1. For longer distance sport touring my Yamaha FJR is my favorite. I have a Honda VTX for cruising and short straight tours. For bebopping around town I love my Virago 250.

Because I love the twisties, my favorite places to ride are near mountains. I currently live in Wichita, KS so the Ozark mountains in Arkansas are the closest and I get out there a few times a year. At least once a year I tour the Rocky Mountains which are about 8 hours away. Last year a buddy and I rode 3100 miles out to CO, NM and the Grand Canyon in AZ before heading to Mexico and back home to Wichita through TX and OK. I used to live in NC and enjoyed riding the Blue Ridge Mountains.

"I think I'm going to pass this time around. Debbie and I are riding with the Freewheelers to BBC in Bisbee on Saturday and want to stay a little closer to home on Sunday."
"and that's all I have to say about that"
"I think Butch speaks for us all. It's hard to disagree with any of it!"
"Jay & Adam, the way the weather is shaping up, I may want to do the pre-ride with you on Saturday. Would we meet at the same place and time?"
"Saturday works for me!"
"Tracey squeezed every ounce of performance out of that Beemer, especially after the pipe and Power Commander! Power means nothing, if you don't know how to use it."
"Thanks Tyne. It's always good to revisit the basics. I'd add that less experienced riders should line up in the back of the pack so they don't feel pressured to ride beyond their skill level. Mike"
"Thanks for the post Rob. One other safety note: Don't follow too close behind CBRs shedding their lower fairings! Hurry back. Mike"
"William, I emailed you my order, but I wanted to thank you for your efforts in setting this all up and managing it. I know it's alot of work and we all appreciate it! Thanks, Mike"
