Johnny's Bday ride up the Hill

McDonalds (map)

Selected By: Tyne

Joey's little brother is turning 18 and wants to celebrate it with TSB! He's waited 4 years to ride and this will be his first ride up the mountain. We'll make the usual stop at Windy Point, up to the top then head down for lunch afterwards at a location to be chosen closer to the time. Come out and show him the TSB love!

We will be going to Fudruckers after the Mt for lunch. Everyone is welcome.

Aww damn! I hate "man talks"...Its a bunch of old dudes who smell like cheap beer telling you how to "be a man" while slapping cocks about the good ol' days. Can a really hot chick be the one to show me what it is to be a man? ;)

However, "Bumble" (god rest her soul) is dead and gone so I do need a new name!

What does Johnny mean by, "dead and gone?" Has she been sold or did she suffer a worse fate?

Ok so here's the deal. Johnny, Joey and I are going to ride the mountain regardless. I can't imagine too many people are going to be running the mountain when they have to do it the following day. Yes there will be the usual bikes and traffic may be a little heavier if Oktoberfest is still going on but we're going to risk it. If we see the mountain is too busy we'll switch it to Sonoita since that road should be free of debris from the storms today. If the group would like to do something else..

it's totally understandable. Unfortunately, our schedules just don't permit us to go any further and get lunch in as well.

update - Oktoberfest is not going on up there so that's not a concern. I don't see this causing much of an issue.

I will not be doing the mt. I think there will be too much traffic and too much heat. If you change to Sonoita I will join.

Perfect day on the mountain. Weather was gorgeous and that was the second best cookie I've ever had up there! Only outdone by a half cooked peanut butter one years ago lol. Thank you to everyone that came out and made Johnny's birthday special. Couldnt have asked for a better ride, weather, or company.

This was a very nice ride for sure. Yvonne and the Interceptor Rider- it was great fun following and leading with you guys down the Hill. Yvonne, I’m no expert, but I like the way you set up for corners- good riding. Thanks for leading Rob. Lunch conversation and food was great too!

Was a great ride...A few cars in the way but nothing major...No cyclist, or runners...My cookie was great and the ride back down was nice! It was a blast..and great to meet some new people...No cops, no tickets, no drama. Happy Birthday Johnny, it was nice to meet you and you to Joey ;>
