i keep getting a message that there is an 'unresponsive script' (related to Chrome) on some pages, and it won't complete. Cannot access photo page either. I had Chrome browser, but i always use Foxfire.

Any ideas for solution, would appreciate it.

They pop up a lot, recent one,

I do not use meetup with Chrome. I would suggest using Firefox. I have had no issues. I like Chrome but I do see randoms errors.

that's what i mean. I use foxfire, but have Chrome on here which i don't use. I just deleted Chrome, and i still get messages. Computer shows everything else is OK.

Computers are nuts.

Geez. My latest version of Firefox took it upon itself to disable the Metastatic plugin that allows picture downloads. And it did not allow setting to be enabled either! I tried Chrome, wouldn't work either. I tried Internet Xplorer and it prompted me to OK the plugin install. Works now. pita.

Thx guys. I got it working only on Internet Xplorer so far. sucks. I don't know what happened with foxfire to do that, it did it's own thing and screwed it all up.

chrome ver. 4.0.249.43 linux/ubuntu beta works great - chrome users: ensure you have a current version. I haven't paid attention to how chrome updates itself yet.

For Firefox - http://www.mydigitall...

Or try some suggestions from this forum for Firefox - http://forums.mozilla...

For IE8 - http://support.micros...

Try those. Chrome is to new so its a bit harder to find info for chrome users. Hope this helps. If you dont like to read then you wont be fixing your problem lol.

Thanks William and Charles,

I am having to use IE8 for now.

Firefox 3.6 is disabled the plugin for meetup photos, so it freezes and never gets thru that page, and gives me repeated script error messages.

Another problem, is when I close Firefox, and then try to re-open it, i continually get that message that it is still running and i need to close it. Really sucks, since Firefox is about the fastest browser. I can't believe I am the only one having this problem!!!

I also tried that solution on one site, about 'about:config', and changing the time, it had no effect. Meetup photo download page still won't load, etc.
